Character Concept #1.2: Talyn

Okay, so in my story, the people in...I don't know, maybe just America?...maybe the world too...start developing strange mutations. The mutations are the result of a bizarre explosion centered at...either a laboratory or a mental health facility, I'm still thinking about it. And unbeknownst to the people on her new team, Talyn here was right there when it happened.

Strangely enough, she wasn't killed, but instead walked away with no memories of the explosion, bright green eyes and the ability to manipulate energy. Not too bad. Or...so she thought.

Truth is, her mutation goes a lot deeper than that: She can manipulate energy because she is literally becoming pure energy--and the more she uses her powers, the faster her...destabilization, let's call it, progresses.

She starts wearing the arm wraps once she realizes what's happening to her, in an attempt to hide it from her teammates. But pretty soon the bad guys of my story catch onto what's going on with Talyn, and decide that rather than have an unstable time-bomb walking around, they should get her under control. (And by that I mean under their control.)

...That's all I've got so far. I'll keep you guys updated as I flesh out the story.
